Once live, they maintain a public rating from all previous customers. You can view a provider's full profile, rating, and reviews before accepting their quote.

What happens if the work isn't done properly?

You have a 3-day dispute window after the job is marked complete. Raise a complaint inside the app and payment to the provider is immediately paused. Our resolutions team contacts both parties and works toward a fair outcome — refund, rework, or a replacement provider.

Do I pay upfront?

Yes. Payment is taken securely in-app when you accept a provider's quote. Funds are held by Errandss — not released to the provider — until the job is confirmed complete. This means you are always protected.

What does it cost me as a customer?

You pay the provider's quoted service fee, a flat R20 platform booking fee, and a R12/km callout fee based on the provider's distance to you. There are no hidden extras.

Provider sign-up happens inside the Errandss app. Download the app, choose "Sign up as a provider", and follow the step-by-step onboarding flow. You will be asked to upload your ID, proof of address, and relevant trade qualifications.

What is the R500 onboarding fee for?

The R500 is a once-off, non-refundable fee that covers your criminal background check, identity verification, and profile setup by our back-office team. Once you are verified and active, there are no further monthly fees.

How and when do I get paid?

Callout fees (R12/km) are paid instantly when you arrive at the job. Your service fee — minus Errandss's 20% commission — is released to your linked South African bank account 3 days after the customer marks the job complete.

Yes. You have full autonomy. You set your own quotes, choose your working hours, and decide which requests to accept or decline. Errandss surfaces you to customers — the rest is up to you.

Our resolutions team reviews every dispute. We contact both you and the customer, look at the job details, and work toward a fair outcome. Providers acting in good faith are protected. Repeat bad actors are removed from the platform.
